Frame Construction

The structural design of any piece of mechanical equipment is key. Sound transmission, vibration, structural integrity and cosmetic appearance are all affected by how the equipment is designed and assembled on the inside. There are some important difference between manufactures, you decide which design makes the most sense!.
You decide which design makes the most sense!

HOW WE DO IT

Fresh/Return Air Dampers and Paths for Supply Fan

With an internal frame constructed from galvanized metal rails and pans. This internal frame carries the weight of all the components and allows for proper isolation of fans and compressors from each other and the external panels. The painted external panels capture the continuous acoustic insulation between the panels and all internal pans. The main purpose of our external panels is a cosmetic covers.

If you were to remove the external panels from Change'Air ventilator this is what you would see!

HOW THEY DO IT

Return Air Dampers and Paths for Condenser/Relief Fan

With all internal pan fixed directly to the external skin. This makes the external panels load bearing and structurally an integral part of the frame. With this type of assembly not only does it create breaks in the acoustic insulation it is impossible to ever remove a side panel after it is assembled and if you were to remove the external panels, this is what you would see!
