The Sophomore Series is the latest technology in energy recovery ventilators. Using an enthalpy recovery fixed plate core, this ventilator achieves maximum efficiency. A split system cooling coil can be added to electric, gas, hot water or steam heat in this energy recovery ventilator.

The Change'Air Sophomore Series energy recovery unit ventilator is the ultimate in efficiency. Available in our 'B' size cabinet, it has a supply air capacity from 700 to 1600 Cfm.

In addition to the standard features found on our units the Sophomore also includes;

• Enthalpy recovery fixed plate core with up to 74% efficiency.
• External rotor motor fan assemblies for recovery.

These ventilators achieve maximum efficiency by using an enthalpy recovery fixed plate core. This unique enthalpy core design eliminates the belts and motors often associated with energy recovery and also offers 0% cross contamination of intake and exhaust air flows.

An onboard microprocessor controls the sequence of operations for the recovery and ensures proper operation even below the core freezing threshold of 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
